Yes. Size, handle length, capacity (gallon), printed LOGO, and label / tag are all customizable. Bag color is standard black only — we do not currently offer other color options. For OEM buyers and nurseries buying under their own brand, we regularly print customer LOGOs and add custom labels to the bag. Just tell us what you have in mind and we will send a layout sketch and a quotation.
Yes. We add UV stabilizer to the polypropylene material so the bags can stand up to direct sunlight season after season. Under typical nursery use — outdoor sun, normal watering, and standard growing cycles — our bags are designed to last multiple growing seasons. The exact lifespan depends on latitude and region — closer to the equator means stronger and more direct UV, while higher-latitude and temperate climates are gentler on the material — and also on how the bags are handled between cycles. We are happy to share expected service life based on your specific location and crop.
That's mineral salt buildup — and it's a good sign! As water and fertilizer pass through the breathable bag fabric, dissolved salts (calcium, magnesium, etc.) are left behind when moisture evaporates. This means your HOKBG Grow bag is working properly — draining excess water and carrying salts away from the root zone, preventing salt stress on your plants. In traditional plastic pots, these salts stay trapped in the soil, harming roots. With HOKBG, they're drawn outward, keeping roots healthy.
Handles for direct machine operation require special customization. Please inform our sales manager when placing your order.
If placed HOKBG Grow Bags directly on soil: Fine roots may grow through the bottom, but the main root will not. If placed HOKBG Grow Bags on plastic film or a hard surface: No roots will grow through.

Yes, HOKBG grow bags offer excellent water permeability. Our grow bag has a mesh structure, so it is permeable to both air and water. For large-scale planting, we recommend using drip irrigation or other automatic watering systems for best results.
